Who we are

A statewide voice for Alabama's fire service

The Alabama Association of Fire Chiefs brings together fire chiefs, chief officers, and fire service professionals from departments of every size. Since 1951, the Association has created opportunities for leaders to exchange ideas, build relationships, develop professionally, and work together in service to their communities.

Our purpose

To promote the professional advancement of the fire service throughout Alabama by uniting leaders, developing leadership, and improving the safety, effectiveness, and efficiency of fire and emergency response organizations.

Our Vision

To lead the way in the fire service by seeking innovative methods to improve and setting the standard for the future. We believe in preparing, responding, and constantly improving to serve our communities with excellence and integrity.
